Hope Beyond Borders goes beyond traditional support by uniting social care with sustainability to create brighter futures for children, young people, and their families. Through our Green Welfare approach, we nurture wellbeing today while protecting the planet they will inherit tomorrow.

We are proud to be the largest Latin American community group in the North East, supporting Spanish-speaking families for 20 nationalities. Our culturally rooted support helps children and family feel safe, confident, and connected while strengthening family stability and community belonging.

Hope Beyond Borders is building a future where children thrive, families grow stronger, and sustainable living becomes part of everyday life, beyond borders and beyond expectations.

How we Work

At Hope Beyond Borders, we support children, young people, and families, many of them from disadvantaged communities across the North East of England. While we proudly stand beside a large and growing latin American speakers community, our work reaches anyone who needs us.

Sustainability, mental health, and family wellbeing sit at the heart of everything we do. Through our Green Welfare approach, we blend environmental responsibility with social support to protect both families today and the future generations who will inherit our planet.

We provide practical welfare guidance, mental health support, and instant crisis assistance for those facing urgent challenges. Our community programmes from food growing and allotment projects to digital literacy and integration support help families build stability, confidence, and connection.

Together, we have supported more than 1,000 people, strengthened a community of over 500 Spanish families, and reduced 12,000 kg of CO₂ in just one year through sustainable, family-centred projects.
